Some throwback pictures! The most common question that I get from people is "how long have you been playing". And it's a tough question to answer because there wasn't a distinct beginning. So I usually tell them about how I started with piano at 5, then... bla bla bla. But as you can see, music has always been a part of my life and I've been playing in front of audiences from a very early age.

On Saturday, I posted a few pictures of this new custom Taylor Guitars C52ce 12-string. But, they weren't very good pictures. These ones do it a little more justice. I'm SO EXCITED about this guitar!! 🙂 And I haven't put it down since I got it. It sounds as great as it looks. Check out the detail on this thing!![]()

This specific guitar was in the Taylor Guitars booth at the NAMM 2025 show. This is one of the "Catch" models. They only make a few of those each year and present them at a special event. Empire Music is a premier Taylor dealer and they buy the entire contents of the booth after the show. I've bought a few guitars from Joe at Empire and I LOVE those guys. They treat us great! I'm actually not sure if any more of these exist out in the wild. Sweetwater has it listed available for pre-order. So I guess they're making more of them, but I don't know if there are others currently in circulation.
